Retired Principal Tales

Taking One Day at a Time

About

I am a retired principal, but still enjoy learning new things and reminiscing about the past. I spent my entire thirty-year career in the same district, with eighteen years teaching in elementary school, one year as the curriculum director, and eleven years as the elementary principal. I spent the past year in the college classroom, and online teaching about guiding and disciplining young children, as well as introducing them to the field of child development. Next semester, I will pick up another class about Phonics. I have three adult children, a daughter and a son-in-law, and six beautiful granddaughters, ranging in age from 14 to 5 years old. I love spending time watching them play sports and being their taxi! I have a new dog, a cockapoo named Coco. My son owns her cousin, Bobo.
