What tech would I be better off without? I KNOW I’d be better off without my phone, but it is a necessity every day. I waste so much time on my phone and lose too much sleep. Sometimes reading posts or watching videos can be stressful. Other times, I get frustrated with my Duolingo chess game.
What did I do before I had a phone? Honestly, I do not remember! I watched a lot more television, I guess. I talked on the phone instead of texting more. I was attached to the wall with the cord when I talked on the phone. It would have been so much better to have had the cell phone when my kids were little because I could have still talked and followed them around the house to make sure they were not getting into trouble. My kids were just like other kids back then. If the phone rang it was a free for all to go to the kitchen for snacks, climb on the counter to get the play dough off the top of the fridge, or sneak outside to do something they shouldn’t have. Parents have it easy nowadays!
I’ll try to limit my scrolling…by putting the phone in the kitchen. But that could lead me to snack more!
