Am I a night or morning person? The answer should be a morning person because I’ve always had to be at work at the crack of dawn. The truth be told, I’ve been burning the candle at both ends all of my life. Late nights and early mornings left me with very little sleep during my years as a teacher and principal. I still don’t sleep in now that I’m retired, because my little dog yaps and wakes me up every day around 6:30 AM.
In my dream life, I would be a night person! I love the quiet whether I choose to listen to a library book on Libby, scroll through social media, or watch a movie on my tablet. Some nights, sleep evades me despite the tiredness I had felt earlier in the day. Those are the nights I lay and solve everyone’s problem!
I guess I’ll keep burning the candle at both ends. Life is short. I should not waste one minute!
